In the faith of the resurrection, let us present to God our Father the intentions that dwell in our hearts on this day of mourning.

    That the Church may tirelessly proclaim the hope of eternal life and be a support for grieving families. Lord, hear our prayer.

    For peoples living in mourning and distress, that respect for human life may grow in hearts and in laws. Lord, hear our prayer.

  3. Pour les Souffrants

    For those who are terminally ill, and for the caregivers who accompany them; may compassion and dignity guide every action. Lord, hear our prayer.

  4. Pour [N.] et ses proches

    For [N.], whose memory we celebrate today: may God bring to completion in him/her the work begun at baptism. For his/her loved ones: may the love they shared remain a light. Lord, hear our prayer.
